A passionate educator, Matt holds a Professorial position at TrinityLaban Conservatoire of Music & Dance where he lectures in Orchestration and Composition. He also holds an Associate Lecturer position at Goldsmiths University (University of London) where he lectures in Jazz Composition, Jazz History and Performance.

Matt has also worked as a visiting tutor at Leeds Conservatoire, National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Julian Joseph Jazz Academy and the Royal Academy of Music’s Junior department.
